We'll help you find your home soulmate.
Here's what we need to know to begin your home search adventure:
Location - The 3 L's of real estate are Location, Location, and Location.
Beds/Baths - If it's a growing family or downsizing, everyone has their sweet-spot.
Move in Ready or Fixer Upper - There's no shame in either one.
Garage or Outbuilding - Whether for your cars or your man-cave.
Price-point - Any great agent will tell you this is the first step to a smooth home buying experience!
"Home hunting doesn't have to be exhausting" - Abode & Co.
Funds: Getting Pre-approved or providing a Proof of Funds is the First step to getting you into your dream home. This sets our expectations on what pricepoint we will be looking in and allows us to physically show you homes.
Explore: After we better understand the right price-point for you, we can begin the search for that needle in the haystack. Our home search tools can evaluate all your must haves (and all your deal breakers) to provide you with a tailored, minute by minute, list of homes as they hit the market. This means we will be ready to make a move as soon as possible to increase our chances of getting into that dream home!
Offer: Once the perfect home has revealed itself, it's time to make that commitment. Writing a Purchase Agreement can be a daunting task, there are many details to add and negotiations to walk through. Having written hundreds of offers in a variety of different markets, we will help you walk away feeling informed and empowered.
Acceptance: If an offer is accepted, that means you can take a breather! You have successfully found that home you love! Now, we will walk with you hand-in-hand to make sure every detail is taken care of.
Inspections: We like to say that every home is like a living being- things pop up that need taken care of. The inspection not only will give us a good idea of how best to maintain the property, but will give us an opportunity to ask for repairs to be completed.
Appraisal: The majority of homeowners buy a home with a mortgage, and the bank wants to make sure they are making a smart investment by evaluating the homes' value. Your lender will facilitate this detail, and shortly after it is complete, they will give us the clear to close!
Final Walkthrough: Sometimes there is a misunderstanding on what items need to stay with the property and what items go, so we do a final walk through before closing to make sure all looks good (and to make sure the sellers didn't put a big hole in the wall while moving that sectional!)
Closing: This is the last step in your home purchase! We sign the documents, get to chat with the sellers about the home, and viola! You own a home!
